Altitude (ALT)
PRESSURE ALT
ALT MONITOR
the altitude chosen to maintain. This altitude is automatically set when
the altitude monitor is turned on. ON/OFF controls are via the CRSR
and ENT keys.
If deviation is greater than the deviation limit (default is 250 ft.), the
GTX will display "LEAVING ALTITUDE" for two seconds. It will then
switch to the altitude monitor page. If the altitude alert is configured to
"Message" or "Message + Chime," the GTX will aurally alert "leaving
altitude." The GTX will reset the monitor when the aircraft's altitude
returns within the deviation limit.
