Replacing the SAS/SATA backplane

Ê Loosen the knurled screw (see the circle).
Ê Lift the SAS/SATA backplane a little way and tilt it slightly away from the hard
disk cage.
Ê Lift the SAS/SATA backplane holder up and off.
Ê Place the SAS/SATA backplane holder with the new SAS/SATA backplane
against the hard disk cage at a slight angle. Then lower the SAS/SATA
backplane holder. Metal tongues on the lower edge of the SAS/SATA
backplane holder ensure that it is automatically centered.
Ê Push the SAS/SATA backplane holder against the hard disk cage until the
centering tabs (see the figure above) on the upper edge engage.
Ê Fasten the SAS/SATA backplane holder using the knurled screw.
