Clean the Document Width and Jam Sensors if the "Sensor dirty" or
"Sensor error" messages are displayed on the Operator Panel of the
scanner.

•
Lift the Lever at the right to
open the Upper Transport
Unit.
•
Pull the ADF release levers
towards you and lift up the
ADF Sheet Guide Assembly.

Clean the SF0 Sensor and
both sides of the SF1 Sensor
(upper & lower) with a dry
cloth or a cloth moistened
with F1 Cleaner or isopropyl
alcohol if necessary.
