Checking the Connected Devices
9.1

Turning On the Devices

To turn on the connected devices, use the following procedure:

Turn on the ETERNUS DX.

Check that the Ready LED is lit on the ETERNUS DX.

Turn on the server.
9.2

Checking the LUNs

Check the LUNs using the following procedure:

Open [Device Manager] to show [Disk drives].

If the ETERNUS DX storage systems' LUNs are recognized by the server, the ETERNUS DX storage sys-
tems' device (LUNs) are displayed under [Disk drives].
For multipath configuration with Windows Server
R2, Windows Server
shows as a single "Multi-Path Disk Device".
