Setting Up the VMware ESX Server
This chapter describes settings related to the server iSCSI interface.
6.1

For VMware vSphere

Set up the VMware ESX server using the vSphere Client. The procedures described here are based on the fol-
lowing multipath configuration.

Turning on the Devices

To turn on the connected devices, use the following procedures:

Turn on the LAN switch power.

Check that the LAN switch's Ready (or equivalent) LED is lit.

Turn on the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system.

Check that the Ready LED is lit on the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system.
