Troubleshooting

If the machine stops operating correctly, check the following possible problems as well as the FAQ on the Brother Solutions Center
(http://s.brother/cpoac/) before requesting service. If the problem persists, contact Brother Customer Service or Brother authorized
service center. An asterisk (*) listed as a reference page indicates the Operation Manual for the cutting machine.

Possible cause (or result)
When the leader sheet was inserted, it was
not placed under the feed rollers.

Solution
Insert the leader sheet so that it is placed under
the left and right feed rollers.
Lightly insert the leader sheet into the feed slot,
and then press
.
Adjust the position of the feed roller.
Lock the shaft.
Select "Roll Feeder" in the home screen.
Evenly trim the end of the material.
Align the left edge of the leader sheet with the
rolled material guide, and then insert the leader
sheet straight into the feed slot.
Firmly secure the material with the guide plates.
Pull out the rear tray.
Adjust the position of the feed roller.
Reattach the material so that it is aligned with the
attachment position line of the leader sheet.
Replace it with a new leader sheet.
