Fujitsu fi-6670 Series Getting Started Manual
If an old version of the software is installed already, uninstall it first.
For how to uninstall each of the software, refer to "Appendix 5 Uninstalling the Software" in the Opera-
tor's Guide.
The following describes how to install the software.

Confirm that the scanner is not turned ON.

Turn on your computer and log onto Windows.
Be sure to log on as a user with "Administrator" privileges.

Insert the Setup DVD-ROM into your disk drive.
The [FUJITSU Image Scanner Setup] screen appears.
If this screen does not appear, find "AutoPlayer.exe" in the Setup DVD-ROM using "Windows
Explorer" or "Computer" and execute it directly.

Click the [INSTALL (Recommended)] button.
The list of scanners appears.

Select the scanner model name you will be using.
Then, click the [Next] button.
To use VRS option (CGA board) (for FI-677CGA), select [xxx + CGA board] (xxx indicates the
scanner model).

Install the software, following the on-screen instructions.
