Optional features

Optional features are dependent on the systems already in your vehi-
cle. Features are subject to change and not all features are available
on all models of alarm and/or all vehicles. Additional parts and instal-
lation may be required. Please check with your AVS installer.
central door locking
The alarm can lock/unlock the doors when the alarm is armed/disarmed.
Door lock on brake
The system will lock the doors when the ignition is on and the brake
pedal is touched twice (if central locking is connected).
boot release from the remote
1. Make sure the car ignition is turned off.
2. Press the
on the remote.
3. The indicators will flash five times and the boot will unlock.
silent arm/disarm
The AVS 3010+ and AVS 3010 can be programmed to silently arm and
disarm. The indicators will still flash.
Auto re-arm and re-lock
The alarm will automatically re-arm and re-lock the doors (if central lock-
ing connected) if the system is disarmed and a door not opened within
30 seconds. This prevents the accidental disarming of the alarm system.
Accessories
AVS 3010+ and AVS 3010 models
The AVS 3010+ and AVS 3010 can be fitted with additional accessories.
A charge will apply.
Digital tilt sensor
Sets itself to the angle you are parked on when you arm
the alarm. If the car is tilted in ANY direction from one
degree it triggers the alarm.
Glass break sensor
Triggers the alarm if the sound of breaking glass is
detected.
Microwave sensor
Ideal for convertibles it detects body mass, such as a
person, entering the vehicle.
PIR sensor
Triggers the alarm if the infrared sensor detects body
heat and movement (use to protect the rear of vans and
trucks).
Reed switch
Will trigger if the two halves are moved apart while the
alarm is armed (use to protect ute canopies).
Ultrasonic sensor
Triggers the alarm if a change of air pressure or move-
ment is detected in the cabin of the car.
screamer siren
An extremely high-pitched screamer siren installed in
the cabin of the car.
