Registration

After switching ON, self-checking, and connecting to the internet, the Alio Vend card reader automatically proceeds to a first

call – "onboarding" – for registering and updating firmware and configuration. After a successful onboarding, the device goes

through a commissioning process that will activate the payment facilities.

To access the Service Menu, press the Service Button found on the back of the device or press and hold the upper left corner

of the front display. (Fig. 8).

Once inside the service menu, the device will confirm online/offline connectivity status.
