Removing the display cable

To remove the display cable:
a. Remove the screw to release the metal tab that secures the display cable [1].
b. Lift the metal tab to access the display cable [2].
c. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the display cable [3].
d. Disconnect the display cable from the connector on the system board [4].
Installing the display cable
1.
Connect the display cable to the connector on the system board.
2.
Affix the adhesive tape to secure the display cable.
3.
Place the metal tab on the display cable.
4.
Tighten the screw to secure the metal tab.
5.
Install the:
a.
palmrest
b.
keyboard
c.
hard drive assembly
d.
base cover
e.
battery
