Remove the battery.
NOTE:
Your laptop is either shipped with a 3-cell or 4-cell battery.

To remove a 3-cell battery:

Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].

Remove the M2 x 5 screw that secures the battery to the computer [2].

Lift the battery from the computer [3].
