When replacing or installing a memory module in the DIMM3 socket on your system
board, you must first remove the heat sink from the microprocessor.
To remove heat sink, perform the following steps.

Release the clip securing the heat sink to the microprocessor socket by pressing
on the heat sink clip tab, and then releasing the clip from the opposite side of the
socket.
2.
Lift the heat sink away from the microprocessor.
