This guide provides instructions to upgrade your Dell PowerEdge 4350 system to a

Dell PowerEdge 6350 system.

Only trained service technicians should perform this upgrade; however, customers

can perform the software upgrade discussed in this guide.

The components that you need to upgrade the system include:

PowerEdge 6350 system board

Third redundant power supply

Hot-plug Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) expansion-card components

Associated data and power cables

System firmware

You also need to upgrade the following components (not included in this kit):

Microprocessor(s)

Memory
