Using the StorPort Driver with the Microsoft
Windows
Server 2003 Operating System
If you are using the StorPort driver with the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system and
do not have Service Pack 1 or later installed, make sure you are using the latest storport.sys driver.
Updated StorPort drivers are available from www.microsoft.com. For the latest required hotfix, see
http://www.qlogic.com/go/emc_approved.
QLogic SANSurfer SANblade Manager
QLogic SANSurfer SANblade Manager version 2.0.30 Build 17 or later supports the Dell 2362M
Integrated Fibre Channel Module card for the PowerEdge 6850. If you are using an earlier version,
see support.dell.com or www.qlogic.com to update your SANSurfer application.
Brocade SilkWorm 4100 Port Synchronization
When using Fabric Operating System version 4.4.0b or earlier, port synchronization may fail. To
avoid this problem, set the topology to loop-first and point-to-point. This corresponds to the
default NVRAM settings. An update that resolves this issue will be available at www.brocade.com.
Version Display at System Boot
During system boot, the Dell 2362M Integrated Fibre Channel Module is displayed as QLA2322.
