The SA-STAG8-5U840 returns the following results with the indicated Capture Devices and Index Devices and the
available storage space for each:
Restarting multipathd
Stopping multipathd
Rescanning the Host Bus Adapters
Rescanning HBA: /sys/class/sas_host/host1/device/scsi_host/host1/scan
Rescanning HBA: /sys/class/sas_host/host16/device/scsi_host/host16/scan
Starting multipathd

3. Verify the size of the Capture Devices and Index Devices. If any of the device sizes are incorrect, rerun the
powervault_build_system_commands.py
4. Copy and paste the commands from the previous step and enter them individually to build the Capture and Index arrays:
For the SA-STAG8-2U144, enter:
mv -f /etc/solera/config/capture-config /etc/solera/config/capture-config.old
mv -f /etc/solera/config/index-config /etc/solera/config/index-config.old
build-ds-capture
build-ds-index -M dm-1
For the SA-STAG8-5U840, enter:
mv -f /etc/solera/config/capture-config /etc/solera/config/capture-config.old
mv -f /etc/solera/config/index-config /etc/solera/config/index-config.old
