Problem
The storage array firmware upgrade
process using Telnet, exits without
allowing you to enter y to the
following message:
Do you want to proceed
(y/n)[n]:
While running the Cluster Validation
Wizard, the Validate IP Configuration
test detects that two iSCSI NICs are
on the same subnet and a warning is
displayed.

Probable Cause
The Telnet program sends an extra
line after you press <Enter>
The two iSCSI NICs are configured in
the same subnet by design.
Corrective Action
User serial connection for the array
firmware upgrade.
To clear the extra linefeed in
Windows Telnet:
1. Enter ^](control, right bracket).
2. In the Microsoft Telnet prompt,
type unset crlf.
3. Press <Enter> to return to
Telnet.
No action required.
