lock the pole in position by
turning the collar clockwise until firmly hand tight.

POLE ASSEMBLY:

Hold the two sections of the pole as shown with the arrows
facing up. Plug the two sections together. Slide the collar
down over the connection and turn clockwise to lock into
place.
