 Secure the exhaust ducting to the

exhaust socket, e.g., with a hose clip

(available as an optional accessory)

on flexible ducting.

 Insert the exhaust socket into the

exhaust opening and secure it by

turning it slightly clockwise.

 See "Connection for vented mode"

for additional instructions on

attaching the ducting.

Preparation for recirculation

mode

 Fit the charcoal filter (see "Cleaning

and care").

Refer to the notes in "Electrical

connection" and "IMPORTANT

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" before

connecting to the electricity supply.

 Connect the hood to the electrical

supply.

 To do this, switch the blower on.

– In vented mode, the air should not

come out of the recirculation grille at

the front of the hood.

– In recirculation mode, the air should

come out of the recirculation grille at

the front of the hood.

If this does not happen, the deflector is

not installed correctly (see "Deflector").
