Changing a halogen lamp
,
Disconnect the rangehood from
the mains supply. Ensure that:
– it is switched off at the isolator,
or
– the mains fuse is withdrawn, or
– the screw-out fuse is removed
(in countries where this is
applicable).
,
Exercise caution when changing
halogen lamps. They get very hot
during use, and remain hot for some
time after being switched off.
Do not touch the surface directly
when changing a lamp, as grease
particles from your fingers will adhere
to the surface and damage it.
Cleaning and care
^ Unscrew the two fixing screws on the
lamp holder.
^ Remove the lamp unit.
^ Push the halogen lamp out of its
mounting from the back. Take care
not to let the halogen lamp fall onto
the cooktop.
^ Fit a new halogen lamp (20 W) into
the socket, and refit the lamp unit
and the screws.
