Cleaning and care
To remove the upper grease filter
push the filter hand hold to the back,
and remove downwards.
To remove the lower grease filters take
hold of each one by the filter hand hold
and remove downwards.
Clean the filters
– by hand: with a nylon brush in
warm water with a little washing up
liquid.
– in a dishwasher: place the filters
with the short side upright in the
lower basket, ensuring the spray arm
is not obstructed.
Depending on the cleaning agent
used, cleaning the grease filters in
a dishwasher can cause permanent
discolouration to the surface of the
filters.
However, this will not affect the func-
tioning of the grease filters in any
way.
After cleaning, leave the filters to dry
on an absorbent surface before put-
ting them back in place.
When removing the filters for clean-
ing also clean off any residues of oil
or fat from the now accessible hous-
ing to prevent the risk of these catch-
ing fire.

After replacing the grease filters,
press the grease filter touch control
for approx. 4 seconds to re-set the
operating hours counter.

Setting the shock absorber:

If after a period of protracted use it
becomes necessary to adjust the
shock absorber of the adjustable
canopy, proceed as follows:
Dismantle the shelf and the side pa-
nels on both sides of the appliance
(see "Installation").
The shock absorber can be adjusted
by turning the screw in the upper
bracket of the shock absorber.
Turning it to the left increases the
shock absorption, turning it to the
right reduces it.
Adjust the screws equally on both
sides until the canopy moves up and
down as required.
When doing this take care that the
screws do not come out altogether.
Replace the side panels and shelf.
