Changing the lamp
Before any cleaning or maintenance
work, the cooker hood must be
disconnected from the mains
supply. Ensure that:
– it is switched off at the isolator,
or
– the fuse is withdrawn from the
fused spur connection unit,
or
– the mains fuse is disconnected,
or
– the screw-out fuse is withdrawn
in countries where this is
applicable).
^ Remove the lamp cover using the
tool provided.
Lever the lamp cover in the middle,
bend it forward and pull sideways out
of the housing from either end.
The lamp holder protrudes a little on
one side.
Cleaning and care
^ Pull it out on this side as far as it will
come, and hold firmly with one hand.
With your other hand, turn the lamp a
quarter turn, and remove from the
holder.
^ Replace with a new lamp in the same
way.
^ Then replace the lamp cover, starting
on the side that the lamp holder is
protruding and push the lamp holder
back into its housing. The fluting on
the lamp cover should be uppermost.
^ Bend the lamp cover and fit it into the
other side.
^ Finally, push the lamp cover up in the
middle.
