• Break the interlock between register and blind cap by twisting

the screw driver.
• The type plate will break at the perforation line.
• Lever off the blind cap b from the register.
• Before mounting the modul, pleas check if the cover of the rotating target c is
clean and free of scratches.

ATTENTION:
The use of these meters and modules in areas with frequent and high levels of
moisture (such as showers or water meter pits) should be avoided, as moisture
can diffuse through the plastic cover in the long run and affect the ability to read
as well as the opto-electronic scanning. Install water meters in a frost-proof way!

MOUNTING THE MODULE

• Match the module with a flush distance of approx. 3 mm on top

of the register. a
• Press the module against the upper part of the register b and push till the
gap is closed and the module is aligned to the register with a click.
• To prevent manipulation place the adhesive seal d at the junction between
module e and register c at the right side of the meter.

SLIDING OPEN ROSETTE
• After assembling the module, slide open the rosette and cylinder.
LED LIGHTING FUNCTION
The EquaScan water meter radio module has a red LED to display the following
operating conditions.
Installation / de-installation:
• Lights up for 15 seconds after mounting the module on the meter (water meter
has been detected)
• 10 seconds after uninstalling the module the LED flashes for 15 seconds
(quick flashes) - de-installation alarm is set in module
Registration in the radio system:
• Flashes every 2 seconds after recognizing a radio router until the next data set
transfer (max. 5 min)
• Flashes twice every 2 seconds after switching over to the walkby mode until
the next data set transfer (max. 5 min)
