Problem
The gas flame goes out
during operation.
The electronic ignition
device on the burner is
not working.
HR19x6: The hob
cannot be used.
HR 19x6: The hob
switches off during use.
With hobs using LP gas
a buzzing noise can be
heard during the
heating-up phase.
Cause and remedy
The burner components are not sitting correctly.
Assemble the burner components correctly.
There has been a power cut.
Turn the rotary control to the (Off) position.
When the power supply is restored the hob can be
operated again as usual.
The mains fuse has tripped.
Contact a qualified electrician or Miele Service.
There are food residues between the ignition
electrode and the burner cap.
Remove any soiling. (See the "Cleaning and care"
section).
The hob is locked during pyrolytic cleaning.
This is not a fault.
Turn the rotary control to the (Off) position. As
soon as pyrolytic cleaning is finished the burners
can be switched on again.
