Solenoid Removal
1. Disconnect the cooktop from the power supply.
2. Close the gas tap.
3. Cooktop Surface Removal, Section 010-4.1.
4. Remove the appropriate switch (Section 020-4.1).
5. Unscrew the burner pipe locknut (Figure 020-2, Item 1) with an 8-millimeter
wrench.
6. Remove the burner pipe; see Figure 020-2, Item 2.
7. Disconnect the solenoid connections; see Figure 020-2, Item 3.
8. Unscrew the solenoid locknut, Figure 020-2, Item 4.
9. Remove the solenoid; see Figure 020-2, Item 5.

Electronics Removal
1. Disconnect the cooktop from the power supply.
2. Close the gas tap.
3. Cooktop Surface Removal, Section 010-4.1.
4. Disconnect all connections from the electronic.
5. Press in the electronic module retainers (Figure 020-3, Item 1) one at a time
with needlenose pliers while simultaneously lifting the electronic.
6. Remove the electronic.
