OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: the appliance should only be used under the operator's surveillance!!!
SWITCHING ON
Switch on the main switch.
The 60 cm wide units are provided with two independently controlled and operated frying
areas.
Turn the knob scaled from "0" to 300° C, both indicator lamps will light up. The green pilot
lamp indicates that the appliance is on, the yellow pilot lamp indicates that the heating
elements are functioning and, when it switches off, that the desired temperature has been
reached.
To switch off the appliance turn the knob to position "0".
SPECIAL NOTES
Allow the plates to cool and then clean them. Remove the residual food products using a
scraper or a damp cloth. This will avoid the formation of smoke when the plate is hot.
INSTRUCTION FOR CLEANING THE CHROME-PLATED FRY TOP
To clean the chrome-plated fry top never use a metal scraper or blades which could scratch
the cooking surface and jeopardize the reliability of the plate.
Therefore clean the cooking plate often with a damp cloth and soapy water.
To remove possible food incrustations, use a plastic knife (when the plate is cold).
If detergents are used, they must not contain chlorine or abrasive materials.
Then rinse all the chrome-plated parts of the fry top (plate – grease channel and grease
drawer), then dry thoroughly.
