2-1-5. Blemish Compensation Adjustment
1. Set the each switch of camera recorder as follows.
● GAIN switch: L (0dB)
● AUTO/MANUAL switch: MANUAL
● WHITE BAL switch: B
● USER switch: OFF
● SHUTTER: OFF
2. Open the OPTION MENU screen and confirm that the item "P.A.P FILTER" is set as "TYPE1" (MAIN MENU >
OPTION MENU > P.A.P FILTER).
NOTE: Push the "DISP/MODE CHK" and "MENU" button simultaneously, and then OPTION menu can be
displayed in addition to a setup menus (12. OPTION MENU).
3. Open the SYSTEM SETUP screen and set the item "SYSTEM MODE" to "1080/59.94i" (MAIN MENU >
SYSTEM SETUP > SYSTEM MODE).
4. Connect the WFM to the SDI OUT with 75ohm termination.
5. Aim the Camera-Recorder at white chart under the Halogen lamp condition (3100K, 2000Lux). Set Zoom
position to "Z75 to 85".
6. Set the IRIS to "F5.61".
7. Select "CAM(C)" section after start up the PC EVR software, and click "OK" button.
8. Select "Adjustment Tool" in "Tools(W)" menu, Adjustment Tool screen will appear on screen.
9. Click the "Start" button for Black Blemish (AWB is executed automatically.).
10. Confirm that the white level of signal is about 65 to 75%. If it is not, adjust ND or SHUTTER so that the white
level of signal is become about 65 to 75% with Shutter / ND Button on the Adjustment Tool screen.
11. Clicking the "Execute" button, the Blemish Compensation adjustment (Black Blemish Compensation) is
executed automatically.
12. When the adjustment is completed, the message "Blemish Compensation Completed!" is displayed in the
STATUS column on the Adjustment Tool screen.
NOTE: When the message of "Blemish Compensation NG" is displayed, please set up a white level about 60%
and re-adjust it.
13. Click the "Start" button for White Blemish.
14. Clicking the "Execute" button, the Blemish Compensation adjustment (White Blemish Compensation) is
executed automatically.
15. When the adjustment is completed, the message "Blemish Compensation Completed!" is displayed in the
STATUS column on the Adjustment Tool screen.
NOTE: After adjustment is completed, please return the setting of item "P.A.P FILTER" to "TYPE2".
