Panasonic AG-HPX260MC Electrical Adjustment

2-1-6. White Shading Adjustment

1. Set the each switch of camera recorder as follows.
● BARS button: OFF
● GAIN switch: L (0dB)
● AUTO/MANUAL switch: MANUAL
● ND FILTER dial: OFF
● ZOOM switch: SERVO
● FOCUS switch: MANUAL
● IRIS: OPEN
2. Open the SYSTEM SETUP screen and set the item "SYSTEM MODE" to "1080/59.94i" (MAIN MENU >
SYSTEM SETUP > SYSTEM MODE).
3. Connect the WFM to the SDI OUT with 75ohm termination.
4. Aim the Camera-Recorder at white chart under the Halogen lamp condition (3100K, 2000Lux). Shoot the white
chart so that the full screen is white.
NOTE: Please set Zoom position to "WIDE(Z00)".
5. Select "CAM(C)" section after start up the PC EVR software, and click "OK" button.
6. Select "Adjustment Tool" in "Tools(W)" menu, Adjustment Tool screen will appear on screen.
7. Initial setting is required for two lens position before the adjustment.
8. Click the "Start" button for Pos。1.
9. Confirm that the white level of signal is about 70 to 90%. If it is not, adjust SHUTTER so that the white level of
signal is become about 70 to 90% with Shutter Button on the Adjustment Tool screen.
10. Click the "Set" button for Pos。1.
11. Click the "Start" button for Pos。2.
12. Confirm that the white level of signal is about 70 to 90%. If it is not, adjust SHUTTER so that the white level of
signal is become about 70 to 90% with Shutter Button on the Adjustment Tool screen.
13. Click the "Set" button for Pos。2.
14. Clicking the "Execute" button, the white shading adjustment is executed automatically.
15. When the adjustment is completed, the message "Shading Completed!" is displayed in the STATUS column
on the Adjustment Tool screen.
