Installation of the camera

Before starting the installation, turn off the

power of the devices including the camera

and the PC or disconnect from the power

supply.

Step 1

Loosen the 3 screws, detach the upper cover

from the camera body and remove the buffer

(cushioning).

Step 2

Line up the ends of the cables (power cord,

LAN cable, audio cable and cables from an

external device) and the safety wire, and

then bundle them using the provided cable

tie.

Step 3

Attach the safety wire fixed with the camera

mount bracket to the camera. After attaching

the safety wire to the camera, pull the safety

wire and confirm that the loop at the end of

the safety wire is securely hooked on the

safety wire holder.

Important:

The safety wire is designed to support

only the weight of the camera when the

camera falls. Do not put an excessive

weight that the safety wire cannot sup-

port.

Step 4

Connect the power cord plug, the LAN cable,

the cables from the external device and the

audio cable. ( pages 22 - 24)

Step 5

Mount the camera onto the camera mount

bracket. Press the camera onto the camera

mount bracket until they fit closely and rotate

the camera clockwise.
