Optional Equipment Connection and Operation
To Audio AMP Connection (Stereo)
•
To Audio AMP
Connect to an extemal audio amp auxiliary input
for monitoring sound through a stereo system.
NOTE: =TO AUDIO AMP" terminals cannot be
used for external speakers.
Adjustment
-
When an audio amp is
connected to =TO AUDIO AMP" terminals:

Mode. (Refer to the Set-Up Menu [TV]
Speakers section.)
Set volume of audio amp to near minimum.
Adjust volume of TV to desired listening level
Adjust volume of audio amp to matchthe level of TV.
Put the INT. SPEAKERS
into the =ON" Mode. (Refer to the Set-Up Menu [TV] Speakers section.)
Audio bass, treble, balance, volume and mute can now be controlled by the TV Remote Control.

Operation
1.
Connect optional video equipment as shown.
2.
Output terminal signal is same as that being
•viewed on screen.
3.
Record or Monitor as instructed in Optional Equip-
ment Manual.
NOTE:
•
No Program Out Video/Audio Signals are available
when using S-Video Input connections.
•
If your optional equipment is monaural (has only
one audio channel) select MONO by use of the
Audio Adjust Menu and make connection to either
• L or R Audio.
