Symptom
No power
The image cannot be processed by
the IPU.
This unit cannot be updated.
Warning displays
The following warnings are displayed if problems are detected during operation.
Camera warning displays
r When AWB (automatic white balance) is executed

r When ABB (automatic black balance) is executed

Is the power on?
f Confirm that the DC cable plugged into the camera securely.
f Confirm that the <DC IN> lamp on the camera is lit.
Is the <OPT> lamp off?
f Confirm that the unit and IPU are connected correctly by optical fiber
cables.
f Confirm that the <OPT> lamp is lit.
Are the optical connectors or optical fiber cables dirty?
f When the optical connectors or optical fiber cables are dirty, the optical
signal is attenuated and does not work properly. Remove dust and dirt
from the optical connectors and optical fiber cables on a regular basis.
f Be sure to attach the protective caps when the optical fiber cables are
not connected to this unit.
Did you shoot with the lens cap on?
f Remove the lens cap when you shoot with the camera.
It is not possible to update only the unit.
f Confirm that the unit and IPU are connected correctly by optical fiber
cables.
Automatic white balance cannot be executed because the light amount is excessive.
Set the light amount to an appropriate level.
Automatic white balance cannot be executed because the light amount is insufficient.
Set the light amount to an appropriate level.
The white balance convergence for red cannot be achieved.
Shoot a uniformly white object on the screen, and execute AWB.
The white balance convergence for blue cannot be achieved.
Shoot a uniformly white object on the screen, and execute AWB.
The black balance convergence for red cannot be achieved.
Check if there are any errors in the image.
The black balance convergence for blue cannot be achieved.
Check if there are any errors in the image.
The black balance convergence for green cannot be achieved.
Check if there are any errors in the image.
It is possible that the light has not been shut out, with a lens cap not attached.
