Starting HORCM as a service in Windows
XP RAID Manager provides the svcexe.exe command and a sample script file (HORCM0_run.txt)
so XP RAID Manager (HORCM) can be started automatically from the services . See the HP
StorageWorks XP RAID Manager User's Guide.
Starting HORCM as a service in Windows2000/2003
XP RAID Manager commands and the HORCMgr process normally have the same privileges. However,
if the HORCM has Local System privileges, any XP RAID Manager commands will be unable to attach
to the HORCMgr process.
In this case, the XP RAID Manager HORCM_EVERYCLI environment variable must be used to enable
communications. See the HP StorageWorks XP RAID Manager User's Guide.
