User Manual JetSleeve™ 2.0

Thank you for choosing JetSleeve™ 2.0, a high-quality

product to achieve the best accuracy and performance

at the cutting edge. In order to guarantee the longevity and functionality

of these chucks, the following instructions must be followed strictly:

• The nozzle ring must not be removed for shrinking in and out.

• Standard parameters must be used for shinking.

• If you remove the nozzle ring for maintenance, tighten it to 20 Nm.

• For using the JetSleeve™ 2.0 with cooling lubrication emulsion, you need

a high-pressure pump with at least 40 bar (580 psi) operating pressure.

Note that a filter with a fineness between 5 µm bis 50 µm ist necessary.

• The maximum operating pressure of 150 bar (2175 psi) must not be

exceeded.

• When using the JetSleeve™ 2.0 MMS / A TS, the nozzle ring should never

be removed.

• When using a JetSleeve™ 2.0 steep taper, a pull stud bolt is needed,

which is suitable for central coolant supply.

• Before storing, clean and lightly oil the tool holder.

• Before use, check the nozzles for obstructions.

• Attention: Tools with Ø 20 mm have a reinforced outer contour which

can only be shrunk with the shrinking devices HS1100-P and US 1100.

Recommendation

For convenient mounting of the nozzle ring we recommend

the Diebold Multi-Tool (item no. 74.312.025).

For this you need the Torque Wrench

(item no. 74.310.025 or item no. 74.310.200),

with square 1/2ʺ connection.
