The knob should return to the original
position upon commencement of the
next film-advancing motion.
Without any uneven motion or
hesitation, the knob should be
operated smoothly and should be
stopped in the proper position
accurately.
When the sprocket comes closer
to the mask at the stage where the
film advance mechanism is locked,
the sprocket teeth should be within
the range shown below.

It is regarded satisfactory if it is
located rather towards the left, when
viewed from tne top. Make measure-
ments as required with sliding
calipers.
