1. Introduction

The 80x0/80x1 Series Portable Terminals are compact, high performance data
terminals designed for all-day, everyday use. They are powered by either two
AAA-size batteries or a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack. They are supported by a rich
set of development tools, including a Windows-based application generator, "C" and
"Basic" compilers. With their integrated barcode scanning units, the 80x0/80x1 Series
Portable Terminals are ideal for applications such as inventory control, access control
and shop floor management, etc.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
