Cisco 6503-E - Catalyst Chassis With Supervisor Engine 32 Switch Technical Information
The module power values are based on 42 VDC. Power is distributed to each slot in the chassis from the
power supply's 42 VDC output. Each module has DC-to-DC power supplies that convert the 42 VDC
into +2.5 VDC, +3.3 VDC, and +5 VDC to power the module. The 42 VDC is independent of the power
supply's input voltage, either 110 VAC or 220 VAC.
