Following are the solutions to problems that may occur during the installation and

operation of the DIGISOL DG-BG1100U Broadband Router.

1. Why all the LED indicators on router are off?

Verify the connection between the power adaptor and the power socket.

Verify the status of the power switch.

2. Why the Ethernet LED indicator is off?

Verify the connection between the ADSL router and your computer, hub, or switch.

Verify whether the PC, hub, or switch are turned ON.

3. Why the Link LED indicator is off?

Verify the connection between the "Line" port of router and the wall jack.

4. Why Internet access fails even if the Link LED indicator is on?

Verify whether the VPI, VCI, user name, and password are correctly entered.

5. Why does the web configuration page of the router fail to be accessed?

Choose Start > Run from the desktop, and ping 192.168.1.1 (IP address of the

router). If the router cannot be reached, check the type of the network cable, the

connection between the router and the PC, and the TCP/IP configuration of the PC.

6. How to load the default settings after incorrect configuration?

To restore the factory default, keep the device powered on; push a needle into the

hole for about 3 seconds, and then release. The default IP address and subnet

mask of the router are 192.168.1.1 and 255.255.255.0 respectively.

- User/password of common user: user/user
