Beat cancel button:
If a whistling noise is heard when recording an MW or LW station,
you can choose the level which gives the best reception by pressing
the BEAT CANCEL button on the main unit.

2) button to select TAPE 2.
Load a cassette into the TAPE 2 cassette compartment.
Load the tape with the side to be recorded facing you.
Wind past the tape leader, on which a recording can not
be performed.
Press the REVERSE MODE button.

Dubbing from tape to tape
Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

2) button to select TAPE 1.
Load a prerecorded cassette into the TAPE 1 cassette
compartment. Insert a blank tape into the TAPE 2 cas-
sette compartment.
It is recommended that the recording tape be the same
length as the master tape.
Press the NORMAL EDIT button to enter the normal
speed dubbing mode. Press the HIGH EDIT button to
enter the high speed dubbing mode.
The reverse mode will be set to

TAPE 1 and TAPE 2 will simultaneously stop.
Erasing recorded tapes
Make sure that TAPE 1 is not in use.
Load the tape to be erased into the TAPE 2 cassette
compartment.
