Recording from the radio
XL-T300H

Tune in to the desired station. (See page 16.)

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD/Cassette
compartment.

Load a cassette into the cassette compartment with the
side to be recorded on facing up.
Wind past the leader of the tape, on which recording cannot be per-
formed.

Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD/Cassette
compartment.

Press the
button.
Recording will be paused.

Press the
( ) button.
To stop recording:
Press the
button.
Beat cancel:
If a whistling noise occurs when recording from an AM station, press
the VOLUME
button repeatedly whilst holding down the
Cancel) button in the recording stand-by mode. Select A or B,
whichever gives the best reception.
Notes:
z Whilst recording from the radio, the
button does not work as
pause button but as beat cancel button.
z Beat cancel function works whilst recording from an AM station or
in the recording stand-by mode, but not whilst recording from a
CD or erasing a tape.
z If you hear a whistling noise whilst recording an AM station, move
the AM loop aerial.
