What to do

Power outage

During a power outage
Refrain from adding foods and opening/closing doors.
After power turns back on
The LCD panel will be restored to its factory settings.

Switching off your refrigerator

Empty the ice tray. (page 59)

Remove the power plug.

Clean the inside of the compartments and allow
to dry by leaving the doors open for 2 ~ 3 days.
(To prevent odors and fungus)

When the compartment light is blown

Contact the Sharp Service Center to request a
replacement compartment bulb. The compartment
bulb is not to be removed other than by qualified
service personnel.

There is build-up of condensation on the
outside or the inside of the refrigerator
Refrigerator does not cool well
Ice making takes much time Ice cubes are sometimes not made when the temperature of the automatic ice maker
Following sounds are normal
This is a malfunction.
The door-open buzzer will not stop.
The buzzer sound can be temporarily stopped.
Set key lock to ON. (60 page)
If key lock is already set to ON, set to OFF and back to ON again.
* The buzzer will sound again after about 2 days.

Moving / Transporting

Empty the ice tray and remove the power plug. (page 59)
Check the following before calling for repair.
