04. Operating Conditions

Operating Temperature
Optimal performance for the COOL, HEAT, and DRY modes can be achieved in the following temperature ranges. When
your air conditioner is used outside of these ranges, certain safety protection features will activate and cause the unit to
perform less than optimally.

Compressor Protection
• The compressor cannot restart for 3 minutes after it stops.
Hot Start
• The unit is designed not to blow cold air during HEAT mode, when the indoor heat exchanger is in one of the following
conditions and the set temperature has not been reached.
a. When heating has just started.
b. When the system is in defrost.
c. Low temperature heating.
• The indoor or outdoor fan stop running when the system is in defrost.
