Electrical connections
4.5.3.1
Inputs and outputs
The analog inputs and outputs of the analyzers are not intrinsically-safe in the basic version.
For use in hazardous areas, all non-intrinsically safe inputs and outputs must be wired via Ex-coupling relays so that no
external voltages are present should the protective gas supply in the device fail.
You must agree on these additional devices with the relevant local Ex specialist prior to startup.
