How Do I?
place a call?
To place an external call, you must dial "8" first.
Lift the handset and dial 8 + phone number
OR
Press the "Speaker" button, dial 8 + phone number
OR
Without lifting the handset, press the "New Call" soft
key, dial 8 + phone number
OR
Press the "Redial" soft key (for last call placed)
dial an
To place an internal extension call, dial the 4-digit
internal
extension i.e. 3498.
extension?
To place an internal "classroom speaker", dial "4"+
last 3 digits of extension. i.e. 3498 would be 4498 for
a "speaker" into a classroom.
put a call on
Press the "Hold" soft key. The line button will flash
hold?
green. To return to the call, press the "Resume" soft
key.
transfer a
During a call, press the "Trnsfr" soft key. Doing so
call to an
automatically places the call on hold. Dial the
extension?
extension to which you want to transfer the call.
When the call rings on the other end, press "Trnsfr"
soft key again – or when the party answers, announce
the call and then press "Trsnfr" soft key.
