Installing the printer driver
Install the driver in accordance with the steps explained. ⇒ P.18 "Installing by
Auto Run"
Setting up options
Note
When setting up options, you should access the Printer Properties from Win-
dows. You cannot access the Printer Properties from an application.

Click [Start] on the taskbar, point to [Settings], and then click [Printers].
The [Printers] window appears.

Click the icon of the printer you want to use. On the [File] menu, click [Prop-
erties].

Click the [Accessories] tab.

Select any options you have installed from the [Options] group.

Click [OK] .

Installing the printer driver : Parallel connection
If the printer is connected to the computer with parallel cable, you must install
the printer driver by using [Add Printer Wizard]. Follow the procedure below.
Note
If the "plug and play" function starts, you can also install the printer driver
following the instructions on the screen.
During installation by using [Add Printer Wizard], [Digital Signature Not Found] di-
alog box might appears. In this case, click [Yes] to continue the installation.

Close all applications that are currently running.

Click [Start] on the taskbar, point to [Settings], and then click [Printers].
The [Printers] window appears.
