Binding

Select the binding direction of duplex printing.

❒ Before selecting the binding option, the duplex option must be set to on.

❒ The print data and paper size affect the completion of the print job.

The following samples show how to set duplex printing and longedge binding

(host name: nphost, file name: file1).

• rsh

% rsh nphost print duplex=on,binding=longedge < file1

• rcp

% rcp file1 nphost:duplex=on,binding=longedge

• ftp

ftp> put file1 duplex=on,binding=longedge

Select the feed direction of the paper.

Limitation

❒ Only the selected PCL5c from the printer language option is available.
