Booting the Switch with the Router Card for the First Time
Each time you power on the switch, the router card performs the following boot sequence:

After about 30 seconds, messages are displayed, corresponding to the Cisco IOS release
and feature set you selected. The screen displays in this section are for reference only and
might not exactly reflect the screen displays on your console. Following is an example of
the messages displayed:
