Instructions for Use

1. Press and release the "

2. Press and release the "°F/°C" button to select between degrees Fahrenheit

or Celsius.

3. Remove the protective sheath from the thermometer and insert the probe

into the thickest part of meat or fowl, near the end of cooking time. Be sure

the probe tip is not touching bone, gristle, the pan or inserted into a hollow

cavity of fowl.

4. For the most accurate temperature reading, wait 5-10 seconds until the

reading stabilizes.

5. Wash the probe with hot, soapy water after each insertion to prevent

cross-contamination.

Care & Maintenance

Store in a dry location at room temperature. Clean thermometer with a soft, damp

cloth. Temperature probe should be wiped clean with warm water immediately

after direct contact with foods.

DO NOT place thermometer on or near hot surfaces. DO NOT heat beyond

thermometer's temperature capacity. DO NOT use in oven. DO NOT wash in

dishwasher. DO NOT immerse in water or use caustic cleaners or abrasives. DO

NOT allow any part of the temperature probe to come into direct contact with

flames or flare-ups.

NOTE:

This product is not intended for use in cooking environments that exceed

450ºF (232ºC), as the probe may melt or catch fire, creating a hazard to the user.
