Press Z PUSH and insert a recordable
tape into the cassette holder.
With the side you want to
record on facing towards you

Press A (or OPEN/CLOSE on the
remote) to open the glass door and place
a CD on the disc tray.
Fit the CD onto the spindle.
Place
with the
label
side up.

Press A (or OPEN/CLOSE on the
remote) again to close the glass door.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
"CD" appears.

Press z REC on the remote.
The tape stands by for recording and the CD
stands by for playback.
"SYNCHRO" and "REC" appear.

Press DIR MODE on the remote to
select "g" to record on one side of the
tape or "j" to record on both sides.
7
Press S on the remote.
Recording starts on the side of the tape
facing towards you.

To record with the Dolby NR system on, press
DOLBY NR on the remote before step 7. ";"
appears.
Notes
• You cannot listen to another source during CD
Synchro Recording.
• You cannot start recording on the side facing away
from you.
