Notes
• With some songs, vocals may not be canceled when
you select "KARAOKE PON".
• If you press EQ (or PRESET EQ or EFFECT ON/
OFF on the unit) or recall a sound effect, or change
equalizer and surround settings, the karaoke mode is
canceled.
• The instrumental sound may be reduced as well as
the singer's voice when the sound is recorded in
monaural.
• The singer's voice may not be reduced when:
– only a few instruments are playing.
– a duet is being played.
– the source has strong echoes or chorus.
– the singer's voice deviates from the center.
– the voice on the source is singing in high soprano
or tenor.
• While listening to audio from any function when
either "MPX L" or "MPX R" is selected, the sound
from the surround speakers is cut off (MHC-RV555/
RV55 only).
Mixing and recording sounds
You can "mix" sounds by playing one of the
components and singing or speaking into a
microphone (not supplied).
The mixed sound can be recorded on a tape.
Use buttons on the unit for the operation.
