Q: How does this differ from other all-in-one navigation products?
A: No other device on the market has such a complete offering - the revolutionary hands-free functionality,
connectivity, improved map coverage, media control and TomTom PLUS services. TomTom GO is the world's
smartest and easiest to use car navigation solution.
Q: How is this different from the other TomTom products?
A: This is an all-in-one product. However, the question is not about comparing the functionality of TomTom GO with
that of TomTom Navigator. TomTom offers a broad range of solutions to meet the needs of anyone who wants a
portable navigation experience. The real question is what type of device is right for you. A PDA is good for your
personal productivity and can be a very useful business tool. What makes the GO a unique device is software and
device design. GO targets the consumer who wants an all-in-one device. It works out of the box, is portable, has a
sleek design and offers unique satellite navigation. Our products stand by each other as part of our goal to make
personal navigation accessible for everyone.
Q: Who do you see as the biggest competitors to TomTom GO?
A: We are the market leaders in personal navigation. We have the awards and customer enthusiasm to prove that.
When it comes to competition, we see some of the following areas:
1. Other all-in-one devices on the market. These are expensive and have no where near the type of
sophisticated functionality and ease of use that TomTom GO provides consumers.
2. Car accessories: our goal is to elevate car navigation to the same level of attention as the stereo in the
minds of car owners.
3. Built in car navigation systems. These are incredibly expensive, lack the functionality of TomTom's core
product line, are not portable and can be very difficult to use. With TomTom GO you can bring your device

Q: Can I navigate and make phone calls at the same time?
A: Yes, you will be prompted when a call comes in and you can see it in the user interface that
there is an open conversation. During your call the voice instructions will be muted (not to
interrupt your conversation). You navigation screen will keep on guiding you to your destination
during your call.
Q: How do I setup my phone for hands-free?
A: In the phones menu there is an option to setup your configuration. Search for phones will
guide you step-by-step through the process of your phone connectivity. When you perform this
action make sure you have switched your phone on with the Bluetooth option enabled.
Q: Can I use my stored phone numbers and contact names from my phone?
A: Yes, this functionality is available. This enables you to select a number by the name of the
person you have stored in your phone and view the name when you receive a call from this
contact. Please note that not all phones will support this feature. You will always be able to see
the phone number of a call coming in (if this is not blocked by the phone making the call to you).
