Hot Air Frying
1.
Pull the pan out of the fryer using the handle (Figure 2)

Put your ingredients in the frying basket. (Figure 7)
Caution: never use the pan without the frying basket installed.

Slide the pan back into the air fryer using the handle (Figure 8)
Caution: do not touch the pan or basket during and for some time after use, as they get very hot.

Select the desired cooking temperature and time using the +/- buttons (see the Cooking Guide
for basic ideas (Figure 6). Add 3 minutes extra if the appliance is cold.
Note: the fryer will shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity while waiting for temperature or time input.
Press the ▷ button to start cooking (Figure 5).

Some ingredients require shaking during cooking. To do this, pull the pan from the fryer using the
handle and use it to shake the contents, being careful not to lose any (Figure 9).
Caution: do not press the release button on top of the handle while doing this! (Figure 10.)
The fryer will sound an alert when the cooking time is up. You can also manually stop with the ▷

button (Figure 5). Check if the ingredients are ready. If they aren't, simply slide the pan back into
the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

When ready, you can empty the cooked ingredients into a bowl by pressing the release button
on the handle (Figure 11), then tipping them from the basket (Figure 12).
Caution: never tip ingredients from the basket while still attached to the pan, as hot oil/fat that
has collected in the bottom will pour out!
Note: You don't need to wait to use the air fryer again straight after cooking a set of ingredients.
There may be an excess amount of oil or remnants in the pan after several cycles, or certain
types of food, which you may want to remove before continuing to fry. In such a case, wait for
the appliance to cool down and follow the correct procedure outlined in the "Cleaning" section.
When you're finished using the fryer, press the ▷ button for 3 seconds to turn off.

The operation will be largly the same.

Cleaning

Clean the appliance after every session to avoid oil and remnants building up.
The basket and pan have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning
materials to clean them, as this may damage the coating.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and let the appliance cool down.
Note: remove the pan to let the air fryer cool down more quickly.

Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
Note: you should use a dry cloth to clean the light area.
3.
Clean the pan and the baking tray with hot water, some washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive
sponge. You can use a degreasing agent to remove any remaining deposits.
4.
Clean the inside of the appliance with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
5.
Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residues.
6.
Wait for the unit to dry before operating.
